Cookie Cake Dough
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips)

- ½ cup buttercream or cream cheese frosting
- Fresh strawberries or raspberries
- Sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions
Prepare the Cookie Dough
- Preheat & Prepare – Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a heart-shaped cake pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter & Sugars – In a separate bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add Egg & Vanilla – Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients – Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips – Gently mix in chocolate chips.
Shape & Bake
- Shape the Cookie Cake – Press the dough evenly into a heart-shaped pan or freeform it into a heart on a baking sheet.
- Bake – Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool – Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Decorate the Cookie Cake
- Add Frosting – Pipe or spread frosting around the edges or across the surface.
- Garnish – Decorate with fresh berries, sprinkles, or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
- Slice & Serve – Cut into slices and enjoy!
